swimmers are continually assessed to see if they qualify for an
award. We follow the Amateur Swimming Association Schemes which
are the Duckling Awards, Distance Awards and Water Skills Awards.
Badges and Certificates are a very beneficial way for children to
see the results of their achievements in their swimming lessons.
They generate pride and well being as well as being motivational.
Information regarding the purchase of laminated certificates and
badges will be available once your child has qualified for the award.
Receiving an award does not mean that your child can be left
unsupervised in water - even if it is shallow.
